2007 Career Days
The third of Ülker Career Days which is organized once a year by Ülker Human Resources General Management was actualized on 31st May 2007, Thursday at Ülker Camlıca Campus.
At the opening of the program to which 120 students participated from the different universities of Istanbul, Ülker Enterprise Systems Hiring Manager Emre Vural gave information about Ülker Enterprise Systems and Ülker Human Resources Applications; and in his presentation he said: “As Ülker Human Resources, we have determined our vision as establishing the best human resources structure in the areas we operate and implementing the applications’’. He said ‘’We are implementing human resources applications in Ülker Enterprise Systems where 23.500 employees are working according to our values; Honesty and Justice, Respect to Human, Innovation, Modesty, Loyalty and Ownage.
Vural stated
that, hiring policy of Ülker is hiring the individuals who have the qualities
that the position requires, who carries the main competences of Ülker and who
are appropriate to the corporate values of the company; and added that the main
competences of Ülker are; Customer Orientation, Tendency to Team-work,
Effective problem-solving, Result Orientation, Innovativeness. Furthermore,
Emre Vural expressed that, personnel needs are met from the external resources
as much as they are met by the internal resources and he gave information about
the ‘’Performance evaluation system’’, ‘’Career planning and Organizational
development applications’’ and education opportunities in Ülker.
At the
panel that was made after the presentation, the students found the opportunity
to meet the managers of Ülker and the opportunity to listen their own career
experiences. The manager answered the questions about Ülker and the products of
Ülker and they have shared their thought about working in Ülker.
At the end of the meeting, employment applications of the senior calls students
and internship applications of the other students that are attending to lower
classes were taken. 4 individuals started to work in Ülker after their
employment applications made last year at the same organization, and 6 students
were accepted as interns.
At the second part of the program, in the
afternoon, the student visited the ‘’Ideal Gıda’’ factory at Gebze which makes
biscuit production and had the chance to experience biscuit production process.
